Like a hot cordial against the bitter winds, Christmas episodes are our last bit of tv sustenance before the long break, all we have until our shows return in February. And whether they are serious or silly, whether they parody It’s a Wonderful Life or A Christmas Carol, you know at the end everyone will learn the True Meaning Of Christmas and all will be well.

2. Gingers
Obviously red is the best hair color, and though I’ve gotten over wanting to be a redhead myself, I am still jealous of them and their adorable freckles. Also I read somewhere that scientists theorize that the gene for red hair came from early humans interbreeding with Neanderthals, which is just the coolest thing ever.

An Ode to Fringe

Damn, this show. They changed their entire premise—going from a monster-of-the-week procedural to a psychological conspiracy thriller that just BLOWS MY MIND EVERY FUCKING WEEK....
